Here are a couple important things about our fall orchestra concert.
All the students have been sized and given a white tux shirt to use for the school year. The students should wear the white tux shirt, black pants/ black skirt, and black shoes for all our performances this year. The shirts have all been dry cleaned and they are washable.
The first concert will take place next week Wednesday, October 25th starting at 7:00pm. The concert will be held at the High School Center for the Performing Arts (auditorium). Students should report in uniform to the High School Band Room (follow signs) by 6:15pm. The concert will feature the 7th-12th grade orchestras including a combined finale. We will also have Mr. Rodney Page as a guest performer!
There will be a combined rehearsal on the Wednesday morning of the concert day. We will bus the 7th and 8th grade students to the HS for the rehearsal. They will miss 2nd and 3rd hour and will have an excused absence. They will return in time for lunch.
If possible, we are asking parents/guardians of cello and bass players to drop their instruments off to the High School during one of the following times. We do not have enough school instruments for all the kids to play at the rehearsal. The instruments will be locked up and can remain at the HS until the concert Wednesday evening.
