Encore Strings (audition only)

This ensemble is designed to develop the potential of the instrumental musician through rehearsal and performance of quality chamber orchestra literature appropriate to the level of that development. Musical, historical and theoretical concepts are discussed and applied appropriately to every piece of music. Musicians in this ensemble are accepted by audition only. Students auditioning for this ensemble will be required to attend extra rehearsals during excel periods. If you are not able to attend a performance, it is your responsibility to find an appropriate sub from the Encore sub list. Missing a rehearsal or performance without notification will result in removal from the ensemble.
