This year's Michigan School Band and Orchestra Festival has concluded and all five orchestras received a Division 1 rating!
HS- Symphonic Orchestra 1 Chamber Orchestra 1 Encore Strings 1 MS- 8th Grade Orchestra 1 7th Grade Orchestra 1 This is the highest rating an ensemble can receive at the festival. More importantly each orchestra gave exciting musical performances. Furthermore, each orchestra learned grew musically during the process of preparing for festival. Mr. Rosin would like to thank all the orchestra students for their hard work and preparation this year. You should be proud of our accomplishments. Also, a huge thank you to all the parents who helped with transportation to each festival site. Bravo!

The bus will depart for Charlotte High School promptly at 12:00pm. **Students should ride to festival on the bus. They may leave with their parents/ guardian after the performance, however I need a written note or email [email protected] **** Parents are highly encouraged to come hear their student’s orchestra perform. It is always easier to give a great performance when there are friendly faces in the audience. All aspects of the festival are open to the public, however there is no videotaping allowed in the sight-reading room. Participation in festival is an integral and required part of the orchestra curriculum. Thank you for having your student (in uniform) present for this very important event. You will be amazed at what you will hear from both orchestras. Congratulations to the Chamber, Symphonic, and Encore Orchestras on their wonderful MSBOA Festival performances. Each ensemble received straight division 1 ratings! Better yet the ensembles gave very musical performances. Mr. Rosin would like to thank the HS orchestra students for their hard work and outstanding performances.
